Cordyant appears to be a type of ant with a white colored fungus spore attached to a red protrusion on the ant's head. The animation of Cordyant appears to show a face on the fungus spore.
This concept resembles "Ophiocordyceps unilateralis,"[1] a fungus found in tropical forest systems that infects ants and turns them effectively into "zombies."
