- As it's name changes from having spike in its pre and middle evolution, Thornox's name consists of thorn
- EDITOR'S NOTE: I don't know about the last part (which is ox), I'm trying to figure out what it is so I can put it in here but I have no luck, seeing if it's part of an anatomy of a cactus but I guess not (if someone figures it out, please either tell me, someone else, or put it in here yourself)
